Photography has always been a companion to me, a tool that allowed me to better see and explore the landscapes and adventures I found myself immersed in. As an outdoor educator, I have used photography to bring home the stories and visions found on long trips through pristine wilderness. Some of this work has appeared in both Canadian and International climbing publications as well as the marketing materials for companies in the outdoor industry. Initially focused on outdoor adventure photography, I have since expanded the scope of my work to include teaching and event photography. For the past 5 years, I have been an instructor with the Mount Royal University Faculty of Continuing Education.
Increasingly, photography has become the end in itself, a creative act that continues to teach me how to see the world around me.
